THE INVASION OF TRASH - YOU ARE THE CAUSE AND ALSO THE SOLUTION.
Phu Yên, Da Nang, Rach Gia are the three coastal provinces in the Plastic Smart City, the project that WWF deployed to raise people’s awareness of the impact movement of plastic waste.
From the fact that the landfills in the coastal provinces are becoming overloaded, we come up with the concept “The Invasion Of Trash” to warn about the danger of living with human garbage if we continue to litter plastic waste carelessly.
Continuing the carelessly littering behavior, garbage can become a dangerous invader that floods into the living places, threatening daily life and people’s livelihood.
Continuing the carelessly littering behavior, garbage can become a dangerous invader that floods into the living places, threatening daily life and people’s livelihood.
Behind this big warning title that draws the attention of the audience, the campaign’s message in fact indicates that the garbage is not doing anything. Only us, the human beings, are the cause of the invasion to attack our own lives, and also the solution to stop that war by sorting trash and reducing plastic use.
REVERSE THINKING TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH OF WHAT WE TRULY GET AND LOSE.
People have a tendency to look at things they have lost, instead of what they also get from the incident. Especially when something they might get seems to appear in the future while something lost stays in front of the naked eyes.
Nylon bags, plastic bottles and straws are so cheap that we don't remember what they are priced at. Meanwhile, fabric bags, personal water bottles cost more pennies and lose time to prepare. But in another world, under the rules of another, the non-valuable plastic garbage is measured in the unit of life. And the convenience that we think we get costs us much more.
The price to pay for plastic use is 100,000 marine animal life losses lost annually due to eating, entangled to plastic. We also pay the price of 70,000 micro-plastic seeds down on our dinner from the air every year. The environment includes soil, water and air that are already plastic-contaminated. And living within the circulation of nature - our human being too.

Will you be ready to pay that price?
Are you willing to exchange your health and your living environment for the convenience of plastic use if you know this TRUTH?
The truth is not easy to find. But once the thinking has been reversed, our awareness will change forever. In the campaign "For a non-plastic waste community" that took place in 2019 conducted by WWF-Vietnam, we succeeded in reversing the thinking of the audience and our own forever like this.

MORE LOVE,
LESS CRITICISM.
Vietnam is an emerging transit point and market for ivory products. Unfortunately, loopholes in the current law make activities and measures to prevent demand for ivory ineffective.
The target audience of ivory products are Vietnamese, Chinese tourists aged 38 - 54, who achieved wealth, power and fame in their lives. Criticism, threats or far-fetched moral responsibilities are not a major concern to them.
That’s why we chose to ignite compassion with this public. Because whoever you are, love and belonging are values that are deep rooted in every person.
BABY ELEPHANT NEED ITS MOTHER TOO.
Just like us humans, elephants have a deep bond with their fellows. Just like a human’s baby, a baby elephant needs its mother too.
Every year, more than 20.000 elephants are killed for their tusks, nearly 100 rangers die in duty, and many poachers give their lives for tusks.
Thousands of baby elephants orphaned their mothers. Hundreds of children orphaned their fathers.
“I am orphaned. Luckily to survive poaching, I am named Bahati which means “Lucky”. My mother was killed for her tusks”.
The elephant child spoke out.
SAY NO TO IVORY.
SAVE FAMILIES.
SAVE FAMILIES.
LIGHT UP YOUR IDEAS FOR PLASTIC WASTE.
Plastic Innovation Contest is organized by WWF-Vietnam with the desire to encourage individuals and businesses to come up with recycling ideas for plastic waste.
We came up with a pretty simple concept in a short amount of time - lighting up your ideas from used plastic. The ideas is executed literally as such by combining plastic objects with lampholders to form a light bulb - a familiar representation of creative ideas
Funny thing is that when posted online, this poster caused a little bit of controversy. A few audiences looked at this poster online and commented that the idea of making light bulbs out of plastic shells is impossible. While that wasn’t our intention, this online debate helped bring this small contest to the fore. Maybe thanks to this attention, our “light bulb plastic idea” will come true.
